Knut is a baby polar bear who is being raised by hand at the Berlin Zoo after the it was abandoned by its mother. Though popular with the staff, animal activists are arguing that domestication is a form of humiliation, and that the baby bear must die to save it from further, well, humiliation. Of course, they're not offering to kill it themselves.
